2025 Harley-Davidson® CVO™ Road Glide® RR near McDonough, GA

2025 Harley-Davidson® CVO™ Road Glide® RR in orange, leaned into a racetrack curve near McDonough, GA.

The 2025 Harley-Davidson® CVO™ Road Glide® RR is designed as a production motorcycle that carries engineering influence directly from competitive racing. Manufactured in limited numbers, it is marked by a serialized riser clamp that secures its identity as one of the rarest Harley-Davidson® models. Constructed with lightweight titanium, billet aluminum, and carbon fiber, the machine demonstrates a combination of reduced mass and increased durability, producing a platform built for performance while maintaining road-legal compliance. Its factory-installed Screamin’ Eagle® 131 V-Twin delivers unprecedented output for Harley-Davidson®, while its chassis, suspension, and braking systems integrate technology tested on the racetrack.

Milwaukee-Eight® 131 V-Twin Engine

The Screamin’ Eagle® 131 V-Twin is the most powerful Milwaukee-Eight® engine ever installed at the factory. With 153 horsepower and 150 foot-pounds of torque, it pushes the motorcycle to a 6,500 RPM redline. The engine includes CNC-ported heads, a Screamin’ Eagle® camshaft, and upgraded internal components developed from Harley-Davidson® Factory Racing applications. The high-performance intake system features a 68-millimeter throttle body and a CNC-machined aluminum intake manifold, while the Screamin’ Eagle® High Flow air filter supplies consistent airflow.

Screamin’ Eagle® Racing King 6 Transmission

The transmission is engineered to handle the stress of racing conditions. It uses shot-peened gears and shafts for improved strength and durability. Back-cut shift dogs secure gear engagement under heavy acceleration and braking forces, reducing the likelihood of missed shifts in demanding conditions. This system ensures consistent performance even under sustained high-speed use.

Akrapovič Titanium Exhaust System

The full exhaust system was developed in collaboration with Harley-Davidson® Factory Racing. Constructed of titanium with carbon fiber shields, the 2-into-1 design reduces overall weight by more than ten pounds compared to the standard Milwaukee-Eight® exhaust. The titanium muffler provides a sharper exhaust rumble while maintaining emissions compliance across all fifty states. The reduction in mass not only enhances acceleration but also contributes to improved handling balance.

Race-Spec Öhlins Suspension

The suspension of the 2025 Harley-Davidson® CVO™ Road Glide® RR incorporates fully adjustable Öhlins components to provide a higher ride height and sharper control. The 43-millimeter inverted forks at the front and the dual remote reservoir shocks at the rear deliver precision damping and handling feedback. The raised height adds two inches of clearance, enabling steeper lean angles and allowing the motorcycle to be managed aggressively in high-speed turns.

Billet Aluminum Swingarm

Developed directly through Harley-Davidson® Factory Racing programs, the billet aluminum swingarm improves suspension response while minimizing unsprung weight. Carved from a 220-pound block of 6061 aluminum into a final 18-pound unit, the component is a demonstration of weight reduction through advanced machining. The swingarm’s rigidity contributes to improved stability when entering and exiting corners at speed.

Brembo® Braking System

The braking system features Brembo® GP4-RX CNC calipers with four 32-millimeter pistons that provide MotoGP-grade stopping ability. The calipers are paired with 320-millimeter T-Drive rotors at the front, delivering consistent braking under extreme loads. The rear braking system uses a four-piston Brembo® caliper and a 300-millimeter rotor for balance and additional stopping force.

Mid Controls and Rider Positioning

The 2025 Harley-Davidson® CVO™ Road Glide® RR mid-mounted billet aluminum foot controls replace traditional footboards. This adjustment allows deeper lean angles and provides more responsive control when shifting or braking at high speeds. The race-inspired solo seat developed with Saddlemen® raises the rider position by one inch, optimizing ergonomics for mid-control use. Its rear bolster secures the rider during acceleration, while the integrated pommel stabilizes body position during braking. The carbon fiber construction further reduces weight and contributes to the motorcycle’s overall performance orientation.

Cast Aluminum Wheels and Carbon Fiber Bodywork

The gloss black cast aluminum wheels are designed to reduce unsprung weight, supporting both acceleration and handling. Each front wheel carries a laser-etched CVO™ RR logo as a mark of exclusivity. The bodywork integrates exposed carbon fiber weave sealed under a deep gloss clear coat, combining strength with reduced weight. This design reflects direct influence from aerospace and motorsport applications.

Advanced Ride Modes

The 2025 Harley-Davidson® CVO™ Road Glide® RR incorporates nine selectable ride modes that adjust engine braking, ABS, traction control, and power delivery. Two of these modes were developed specifically for racing use. Track Mode was created with input from Harley-Davidson® Factory Racing rider Kyle Wyman, delivering throttle response and traction settings tuned for closed-course use. Track Plus Mode further reduces electronic intervention, providing advanced riders with maximum control. Mode selection is immediate through handlebar controls, offering flexibility across different riding environments.

Infotainment and Display

A 12.3-inch touchscreen display powered by Skyline™ OS provides advanced instrumentation. The system integrates Apple CarPlay® and Bluetooth® wireless connectivity, as well as built-in navigation. Over-the-air updates ensure continued software improvements. The screen offers a clear and intuitive interface, making performance and connectivity features easily accessible without distraction.

Audio System

The Rockford Fosgate® Stage III audio system delivers 500 watts of power through 6.5-inch three-way fairing speakers. Engineered to maintain clarity and volume at speed, the system of Rockford Fosgate® is an extension of its role as an official partner of Harley-Davidson® Factory Racing. This ensures the audio system performs reliably under high-output conditions.

LED Lighting

Integrated LED lighting improves visibility and contributes to the aerodynamic profile. The design is built into the bodywork to maintain a streamlined appearance while enhancing road presence. Lighting performance remains consistent in various riding environments, ensuring safety and clarity during both day and night operation.

Rider Safety Enhancements

The 2025 Harley-Davidson® CVO™ Road Glide® RR incorporates a full suite of rider safety enhancements. Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) prevents wheel lock during straight-line braking. Cornering ABS adapts braking force to lean angle, maintaining stability when turning. Electronic Linked Braking distributes braking force between front and rear wheels, with Cornering ELB adjusting the proportion based on lean. Traction Control regulates rear wheel spin under acceleration, while Cornering Traction Control expands this function during lean. Drag-Torque Slip Control reduces rear wheel slip under deceleration, with Cornering DSCS enhancing this support when turning. Vehicle Hold Control keeps the motorcycle stable on inclines until acceleration begins, and Tire Pressure Monitoring provides alerts for incorrect inflation.
