The Enthusiast Collection comprises a series of special variants that Harley-Davidson® puts out annually. Each year, the theme of the collection changes as do the particular models that are included. The G.I. theme for 2022 celebrates the men and women who have and continue to serve this great country. The bikes included are the 2022 Harley-Davidson® Tri Glide Ultra and the 2022 Harley-Davidson® Pan America™ 1250 Special. Both feature the Mineral Green Denim Deluxe paint scheme along with exclusive graphics that give the bikes a classic military vibe. While the Tri Glide Ultra has a more traditional chrome finish, the Pan America™ 1250 Special pairs its exclusive elements with a more modern blacked-out aesthetic.
Pan America™ 1250
The Pan America™ 1250 is one of the newest models in the Harley-Davidson® lineup, and it was the initial offering in the new Adventure Touring family. For those not familiar, adventure touring motorcycles are bikes designed to perform well off-road and on. The Pan America™ 1250 is a particularly impressive specimen as there is so much room for customization. If you want a true touring machine that handles long distances as well as it does off-road challenges, you can have that with the Pan America™ 1250.
Pan America™ 1250 Special
The Harley-Davidson® Pan America™ 1250 Special is a premium edition of Harley-Davidson®'s adventure tourer. It includes a wide range of exclusive features that allow it to compete with the top ADV bikes in the segment. These include a semi-Active front and rear suspension with vehicle load control, tire pressure monitoring system, center stand, multi-position rear brake pedal, brush guard, aluminum skid plate, Daymaker signature adaptive headlamp, hand wind deflectors, heated hand grips and steering damper. You also have the option of adaptive ride height and tubeless laced wheels.
Performance and Ride Characteristics
The 2022 Harley-Davidson® Pan America™ 1250 Special is powered by the Revolution Max 1250 engine. The adaptive ride height is new for this year and a factory-installed option, which means that you must opt for it at the time of purchase. Ride characteristics include an upright riding position, a tall profile, mid-mount foot controls, a passenger seat and a frame-mounted fairing. The Pan America™ 1250 Special features advanced rider-assistance technologies. It also provides rider-selectable modes, such as Sport, Rain and Off-Road, and even has a mode that you can personalize to your riding style.
